Homemade Peanut Butter with Almonds

If you love peanut butter and have a food processor, I highly recommend making some yourself! You can get creative and have fun with the flavor, and it tastes so fresh compared to store-bought. I like to use maple syrup to give it a hint of sweetness, vanilla extract and a dash of salt as a baseline. Then throw in some almonds or hazelnuts — whatever you feel like to kick it up a notch.


Need a quick yet healthy meal during the week? This quinoa + broccoli mix topped with sausage is ready in about 20 minutes, will make enough for a few meals, and it’s healthy and totally delicious. To change it up you can add a splash of soy sauce or cover it in cheddar cheese.
